Grace An, LCSW
Therapist
I am a licensed clinical social worker with several years of experience and diverse practice in the field of mental health. I provide psychotherapy to individuals with a trauma focus lens and with culturally/racially sensitive insight. I hold a master's degree in Social Work from New York University, along with numerous specialized training in the field of trauma, child abuse, and forensic interviews. I have specialized expertise with providing support and counseling to survivors of crime ranging from homicide, child abuse, intimate partner violence, and sexual violence.
I am passionate about providing trauma-focused and culturally/racially sensitive therapeutic interventions. Drawing from my own experience as a Korean-American, I have a deep understanding of intersecting identities and how it impacts one’s sense of self and navigation through the world. I approach clients with sincere respect and humility, and aim to collaboratively create a safe therapeutic relationship honoring all parts of a client’s identity. I am committed to deepening this anti-racism work to continue serving the needs of diverse populations. It would be a great privilege to walk along with you in your journey.
